California White Sage Smoke Burning Bundles
Our White Sage Smoke Burning Bundles are from the coastal mountains of California, where they are harvested, dried and wrapped into bundles. They are available in the following Herb Bundles:

Indigenous Nations used them for purification, dispersing negative energy, providing protection, healing, prosperity and abundance. Smudging is a sacred practice to indigenous nations, and we refer to this practice as smoke cleansing and clearing.
These Herb Bundles are especially useful in clearing the atmosphere in and around your home or space. They will produce a soothing smoke that is quite refreshing for many.
White Sage (Salvia Apiana) can also be used to smoke cleanse a person for health (for distance healing: try smoke clearing a photo of the person or visualize them being cleared with the smoke).
How to Burn a Herb Bundle for Smoke Cleansing:
- Light the tip and blow it out
- Wave in air (use an Abalone Shell to catch embers and falling ash) OR place in a glass or other fireproof container (one that will not burn) with sand or salt placed therein to hold the bundle upright. You can use a feather to move the smoke around.
- Voice your intention as you move about the room or your home. For example, you can say, “This house is clear”, or “This house is healthy”. Remember to smoke clear in every corner as well as under beds/tables/chairs/etc, as negativity tends to gather there.
- To extinguish, invert bundle into the sand or salt to smother. Never under running water.
Caution: Never blow on the bundle while smoke clearing, as this could cause sparks to fly and cause a fire. Do not wear billowy, loose fitting clothing and keep windows open while smoke clearing so the energetic debris has an exit point. If gently waving your herb bundle room to room, always hold a fireproof container underneath.
