Question:
"Good day! I wanted to ask can I wear lapis bracelet and wear my hand with soap at the same time? Not soak it but just wash it? As lapis has pyrite in it, would it become toxic? Can you advise me please. Thank you."
Answer:
Hi E,
Thanks for reaching out to us.
I would recommend to remove the Lapis Lazuli bracelet when washing your hands. It won't cause the stones to go toxic or anything to happen to you, but it can cause the bracelet cord to weaken over time and break. Tumbled and Polished pieces can handle water and I'm assuming that is what your bracelet consists of. Jewelry is always risky because washing continually can cause it to degrade.
Hope this helps :)
