If you feel negative towards a particular crystal, should you avoid it or look up qualities of that stone and try to determine why you might be feeling negative towards it and try to resolve that issue? As part of a group of crystals, a tumbled tiger's eye was included - I just don't like it and always feel like pushing it away. However, I'm generally not one to run from problems, so I need to know if I should be facing something or just place it out of site.
Good Morning :)
I think the first thing you may want to do is give it a good energetic cleansing, just to make sure it has not absorbed any unwanted energy in transit (think of all of the folks who may have their hands on that box once it leaves for its destination). Once the crystal has been cleansed, see how it feels for you.
If there is still the impulse to push it away, I believe you are totally on the right path when you say that it is possible there is an issue you may want to look at.
For me, crystals are mirrors into our soul. They show us what parts of our inner self may need work. When you feel an uncomfortable sensation, pay attention. Try not to throw down the crystal with repulsion. These are the very crystals that we need more than the ones that make us feel joyful. Why? Because they are showing us some facet of ourselves that we need to address. We may need balance or we may have been holding on to an emotion that should have been released long ago. We may be holding a grudge and not allowing our compassionate self to forgive. We may be judging others or judging ourselves.
Crystals are marvelous companions because they show us these things, if we listen. They do not judge or criticize. They simply are there with loving and gentle energies to help us deal with our issues. So when you feel uncomfortable holding a certain crystal: stop, ask yourself "Why?", listen, and pay attention. The answer will become clear if you are open.
Make a point to spend some time with a crystal that you have, in the past, felt uncomfortable with. Open your heart to it. Listen, really listen. The lesson will unfold for you. The crystal is waiting to be your guide.
The Tiger's Eye is a tool for your journey. I have no doubt you will connect with it and understand why it has come to you :)
With love and crystal blessings,
