Hello Kristi,
What is the difference in wearing a Tourmaline-pointed (or any other crystal) pendant from a rod or non-pointed pendant? Also, has anyone tried wearing a pointed pendant pointing up? What will be its effect?
By the way, how does one fasten a string onto a Merkaba's tip to make it into a pendant?
Thank you,
Arsenio
Good Morning Arsenio,
A pointed pendant will help direct the energy flow. If you wear the point down (pointing to your feet) you are drawing in energy from above the crown and sending it into the body and out of the feet :) If you wear a doubly-terminated point, you will be drawing in energy and sending it out at the same time. I have not seen a pendant with only one point facing upward, but basically, you would be pulling in energy from Mother Earth and sending it out of your crown. Just think of the point as an arrow. What ever direction it is pointing is the way the energy is flowing :)
Rods that do not have points on them would work similar, but not as strong since there is no point to direct the energy.
As for making a Merkaba into a pendant, I have never fastened a string to one tip. It seems that you would have to wrap the string around the body following the shape of the Merkaba. I know we have several jewelry experts on our Facebook page, so I will leave this question opened to them so that they can share their techniques :)
With love and crystal blessings,
Kristi
