I recently obtained a beautiful twin herkimer diamond. Within several weeks, I was holding it to show to my daughter and it fell in a wicker basket - breaking into two pieces. I was surprised that such a soft landing resulted in the break but wondered what you thought about the event in an energetic sense. Please share any thoughts or ideas. Thanks Debbie

Hi Debbie,
I understand how that can be a little surprising, but no worries! It has been my experience that Herkimer Twins can very easily split apart as they are held together only by the thinnest layer of carbon. In other words, in most cases, the Herkimers are growing side by side and are locked together by this carbon, as opposed to growing INTO each other which is a more stable configuration. Energetically, they will still retain their energy--now instead of holding one twin in one hand, you have one Herkimer for each hand :)
While the Twin configuration helps to promote loving contact, tender communication and togetherness- the Herkimer in general does the same, so you have lost nothing by going from one Twin Herkimer to two single ones.
with love and crystal blessings,
Kristi
