Here is a question from one of our customers:

Q:  My dog, a Boxer, has cancer called, Mast Cell.
I've been looking to find a dog collar that incorporates healing crystals to help him, but haven't had much luck other than a charm like hanging tag.
I may try to make one myself for him.
Which stones would you suggest I use to help him fight his mast cell cancer and why?

Answer:

Hi
I must share the standard disclaimer that I am not a doctor and cannot give out medical advice. Crystals for healing should be used as a compliment to other therapies and not as a replacement for regular medical care.
I have had several people say that their dogs have cancer and are looking for help. I am giving you this link to a previous reply. For the Mast Cell tumors I would also recommend putting an Aquamarine in the water dish, or attached to the collar. If the stone is too small for the water dish, keep the water and aquamarine in a container and dole it out in small amounts each day. A suggestion is to get copper tubing and put the crystal chips in the tubing and make a removable collar with that, several have said they tried that but wrapped the tubing around the regular collar and found it was very helpful. You can also put the tubing around the dogs bed or under the dogs bed. The tubing will hold a lot of chips. Bend the ends back to seal and hid the sharp ends. Any of the crystals in the article can be put in the tubing.

I truly wish you all the luck I can send as I know how precious our pets are to us. I will pray for the best.

I do understand that you are not a vet or doctor and only seek additional help with soothing and assisting in the recovery of my dog from Cancer. I appreciate your suggestions and help and will give them a try. Prior to your email I attached a sachet with lavendar and a Reiki bracelet. I have no idea if either helped or will help, but everything is worth a try. Her liver and upper chest seem to be the worst affected so something attached to or in the collar seems the best route, thank you.  (Submitted by: Rikki61 on August 14, 2012)
