Mother Earth Shares her Secrets

Our precious planet Earth has been suffering for quite some time now. The seas, the air and our lands are becoming more polluted, flora and fauna are in danger of extinction, and the human population has seen its fair share of increasing illnesses. What’s a planet to do? We have harnessed the power of the air, water and the Sun to produce better sources of energy. But what about the Earth itself?
Fortunately for us, our Mother Earth has given us the tools and resources that we can use to heal not only her, but us as well. What’s even better is that the answers are, literally, right under our feet! She has graciously allowed us to unearth her crystal secrets so that we may find peace, abundance, healing, protection and energy from these gifts.
The arrival of spring and the upcoming celebration of Earth Day are perfect times to gather crystals to heal our Mother Earth and all who inhabit our dear planet. Here are some crystal suggestions to get you started:
Earth Element Crystals- All crystals have correspondences to the four elements of Air, Water, Earth and Fire. Crystals most associated with the element of earth are usually brown, green (sometimes black) crystals, such as Chrysoprase, Emerald, Malachite, Peridot, Agates (especially Moss, Tree and Banded), Green Aventurine, Fossils, Petrified Wood, Smokey Quartz, Green Tourmaline (Verdelite), Black Tourmaline (Schorl), Brown Tourmaline (Dravite), Jet, Lodestone, Brown Jasper and Turquoise.
Crystals associated with the element of earth are often used for grounding, protection, peace, success, abundance, fertility, agriculture and gardening. They are useful for helping heal the land, forests, jungles and the creatures that inhabit them.
Water and Air/Wind Element Crystals- Crystals that are useful in healing the air/wind and water, including birds, fish and sea creatures are usually blue, purple, white, or yellow. Air/Wind crystals may include Amethyst, Angelite, Citrine, Yellow Jasper, Lapis Lazuli, Sugilite and Sapphire. These stones help with communication, learning, inspiration, creativity, mental clarity, and travel.
Crystals that are often associated with the element of water include Aquamarine, Blue Calcite, Coral, Larimar, Moonstone, Opal, Pink Tourmaline, and Purple Fluorite. These stones help with purification, joy, prosperity, relieving stress, friendship, sleep, and psychic abilities.
When you have your chosen crystals, you can place them around your home, in your garden, near a pet’s bed or a bird’s cage, at the base of a tree, under a waterfall or by a stream, next to the fish tank or just in your pocket.
