Hello.
Most of our products do have their grades listed for you to choose from, when making a purchase. When the grade is not listed, that information for the particular product may have not been available to us.
Selenite has a hardness of 2 on the Mohs scale, which is low, meaning it can be damaged quite easily. Be careful to not let any objects or other stones bang or scratch your Selenite pieces. Keep Selenite dry, as it can disintegrate in water. I would also be careful about placing it in humid environments, like a bathroom, with a shower or outdoors (even covered) when it's cold and/or rainy, which could cause condensation.
Selenite is popularly used for clearing other crystals of old energies and charging (re-energizing) other crystals. Some people believe Selenite never needs cleared or charged itself, however, personally, I feel that you can't be too safe when keeping the energies of your crystals functioning at their best. This is something you will have to use your own intuition in deciding to do or not.
All uses of Selenite can be effective. Choosing which method is best for you will depend on what works for your circumstances (again, your intuition is helpful for choosing a method of use). You can carry tumbled stones in your pocket (I recommend putting them in a small pouch to avoid them falling out), pieces of Selenite can be placed in spaces you frequent (rooms in your home, area of your workspace, inside your vehicle), a crystal grid that includes Selenite could be constructed or a Selenite infused drinking water could be prepared. For drinking water, we recommend the indirect method, which is water put into a container that is clear (glass or plastic) and having the crystals touch the outside of the container, transferring their energies to the water. Also, jewelry made of crystals can be worn in the form of strung beads or pendants (sometimes wire wrapped). We do not currently have Selenite jewelry on our website, but I would think it easy to find somewhere.
