Moldavite

Question:

"Hello, I am looking for guidance. I recently purchased moldavite and cleansed it prior to putting it on. I have it paired with chevron amethyst on a necklace that hangs at my heart. I wore the piece and felt fine the first couple days. I then got horrible anxiety. I worked though that issue, but now I feel as though the necklace weighs so much when I have it on. I do feel spacey and a bit dizzy as well, this feeling is still with me after I remove it. I have tried cleansing with sage, as well as selenite. I don’t feel bad feelings when I have it on however my body is reacting. Can you guide me towards anything that be helpful to adjust? or could it be this stone is not for me?

I have been feeling stuck for a very long time and was hopeful this stone would help guide me through transformation."

Hi J,

Thanks for reaching out to us.

Moldavite is a very strong crystal energetically that can even give folks who have been working with crystals a challenging time. If you don't regularly work with crystals, then I'd suggest that you take a step back a little bit.

Ground before you work with your Moldavite. Great grounding stones include: Black Tourmaline, Hematite, Smokey Quartz and even Red Jasper which is great to wear all day for grounding.

Limit your time with working with the stone so that you can get used to the energy of Moldavite. Work with it for 5 minutes a day and then pack it away for the next day so that you can energetically get used to the stone. I always liken this to a first date. Do you sleep with the guy on the first date? Most likely not, so don't do the same with your crystal ;)

Take it slow and all will work out!
