Mohs Hardness Reference Chart by HealingCrystals.com
The front of each Reference Chart lists Crystals, from Abalone to Zoisite, and their corresponding Hardness number. The back of each chart shows Hardness numbers and their corresponding Crystals. The Reference Chart lets you locate, at a glance, what a Crystal’s hardness is, based on the Mohs scale, a method used to measure how hard a substance is when it is scratched by another substance; in other words, a mineral’s relative resistance to scratching. According to the Mohs scale, substances are listed from 1-10, with 1 (talc) being the softest and 10 (diamond), the hardest. Read about the Mohs scale here.
Our very own Mohs Hardness Reference Chart, was created by our Graphic Artist and our fantastic Consulting team at Healing Crystals. The laminated Mohs Hardness Reference Chart measures 8 ½” x 11”.
