Working with crystals is a great way to meditate. Some crystals have a vibration that is conducive to meditation, while others help just by gazing into them. You can lay down with your crystals in a body-layout according to chakra, or you can just work with one chakra if you like. There aren't really any rules to meditation. You just have to find what works best for you. Personally, I like to meditate with crystals depending on what kind of experience I am wanting or what kind of inner work I need to be doing. Some people prefer to have a focal point during meditation; a photo or an object, but others prefer to completely still the mind and quiet any thoughts to enter the sacred void. I have done both and feel that both have their place.
Many of the same crystals that help with mental health, also have the added benefit of increasing psychic abilities. Crystals used for both these purposes include Amethyst, Apophyllite, and Fluorite.
Amethyst is the most well-known spiritual crystal in the mineral kingdom. Prized for its energies of transformation, Amethyst is perfect for working with the Third-Eye Chakra, which is home to the psychic and intuitive functions of the mind, among other things. Apophyllite is another great Third-Eye Crystal, but it carries properties for the Crown Chakra as well. Apophyllite can strengthen the connection between the Crown and Third-Eye Chakra, providing a transfer of any information gained via meditation into the Third-Eye for processing. This effect creates a new pathway for energetic information to travel, creating a boost in your intuition and psychic abilities, as well as your mental faculties. The best crystal to use for manifesting abundance is Citrine. Citrine is commonly used in manifestation rituals to attract success. You can put a piece of Citrine in the wealth corner of the home to create an energy of prosperity within the home, which can attract the same. The "wealth corner" of the home is located on the far left corner from the front door. Citrine works with the Solar-Plexus Chakra to promote perseverance and self-discipline, which can also contribute to the attraction of success.
