Lepidolite is made up of Mica and Lithium. Lepidolite is literally crystallized Lithium, the same mineral used in antidepressant medication, but in its pure form as it comes out of the earth.
This is a lavender and purple crystal that ranges from translucent to opaque. It often forms in thin sheets or flaky layers. Lepidolite has a pearly or glassy luster that at times may appear greasy, sparkly, or resinous.

 I just purchased a large slab of Lepidolite. The first time that I held it I began to cry. I don't know why. I put it away and later held it again, and once again I began to cry. This is a very powerful crystal for me. I hope I can work through whatever it is that I am needing right now. Wish I knew, but apparently the Lepidolite knows.
