Hello! You guys have a lovely database of crystals and community :) I have a question about the crystals I'm wearing. Basically, I wear 2 bracelets frequently, Pietersite and Sunstone. They have improved my life tremendously with their loving energy and I adore them to bits!
The issue is that my mother-in-law will be visiting quite soon, and her attitude has always been extremely bitter and negative. She also likes to touch my stuff and I'm a little paranoid that my happy bracelets might wither under her negative energy field. I guess I'm looking for assurance that they are a lot more wiser and stronger than I think they are. haha Can you please give me your thoughts on this, and perhaps how cleansing with running water will wash away the heaviness of the negativity? Thank you for your kind words and for contacting us with your crystal question. I’m glad you are enjoying your crystal bracelets so much. Pietersite and Sunstone are such lovely crystals!
To help keep your “happy” bracelets happy, cleansing them regularly (and perhaps more often when you wear them around negative people) is a good thing to do. Personally, I don’t like rinsing jewelry because water can get caught in the holes of the beads/chips and weaken the stringing material. Some other options for clearing you might like are our crystal clearing video, which is a sound-clearing method you can find at this link and putting your crystals on Selenite or Carnelian which both have the ability to cleanse the energy of other crystals. Selenite is also helpful for keeping the energy of an area clear, so you might want to have it in the room where your mother in-law will be spending a lot of time with you. Crystals can also clear and charge in the light of a full moon, as long as you have a way to do this that will not tempt neighborhood furry friends from running off with them!
