"Phantom Crystals" By Crystal CAT

Dear Healing Crystal Enthusiast:
Also known as "Ghost Crystals", the Phantom Crystal is identified by the formation of a smaller mineral formation within a larger crystal. This happens when the growth of the "phantom" mineral is interrupted, followed by the continuation of the Quartz growth beyond that point. Usually found in Clear Quartz, Phantom Crystals can also be found in Amethyst. The Phantom can be one of many different minerals, such as Amethyst, Chlorite, Hematite, Ajoite, and Carbon, to name a few. These crystals are relatively rare, and are prized for their powerful healing energies, their ability to enable a deep meditative state, and their aid in accessing the Akashic Record and past lives.
Phantoms can be found in many different types of formations. For example, you may find a Quartz Crystal with an Amethyst Phantom completely inside of it, in a definite form with hard edges, repeating the shape of the larger crystal. There are other Phantoms where the mineral inside looks very fuzzy, but still follows the pattern of the outside crystal. Some Phantoms have multiple formations within the larger crystal. There are Chlorite Phantoms where the Quartz has grown and stopped, the Chlorite grew on top of it, but then stopped, allowing the Quartz to continue growing on top of the Chlorite. I have an Elestial "Gardenscape" (many different minerals) Phantom, consisting of a combination stone (Chlorite, Hematite, Carbon, and some unidentified minerals) with Clear Quartz that has partially grown over it, so that some of the original mineral is exposed outside of the Quartz. I have another Phantom Quartz that contains what looks like Sulfur in no particular formation, on only one side of the crystal.
The nature of the formation of the Phantom Crystal lends itself to the property of accessing past lives. Attuning to one of these crystals can help one to gain access to the Akashic Record, which can help one to understand how the events of the past have led up to the conditions of the present. It is believed that the Phantom Crystal has had many lives, and is therefore able to assist others in their own learning of the past. It is in this respect that people can work with a Phantom to heal their own karma, by recognizing its existence and meaning in their lives and learning how to overcome it, without bypassing its purpose. A Phantom Crystal can help one to remember the state of perfection that existed long before this current incarnation, before any degeneration had occurred, and to recall this state into the present.
Phantom Crystals can work with the more recent past as well. Many events in one's life are repressed, which causes problems in the present because these issues were never processed. These problems can appear in the form of hangups, idiosyncrasies, or even obsessions. To clear up these issues, one must be able to bring up the past events that caused the repression so they can be dealt with and released. Attuning to a Phantom Crystal via close contact or mediation can help one to recall a repressive event, and to view it in the correct context of a lifetime, allowing its purpose to be understood in a healthy manner and with a fair amount of detachment.
Not only can Phantom Crystals heal events in the past, but they are also wonderful physical healers. Since most of the minerals that end up forming a Phantom within Quartz are healers in their own right, their combining with Quartz, which is the "master healer" itself, makes for some powerful healing energies! The Phantom's immense healing abilities transfer to an ability to help with the most important task of healing of our Planet Earth. By connecting with the past and recalling the original state of perfection, all the Phantom needs is the diligent intent of the healer to connect with it and send these rejuvenating high vibrations into Mother Earth. While there are many different methods of sending healing to our planet, this is one of the most potent.
A stone of universal awareness, the Phantom Crystal can also be used for connecting with the higher realms and also with one's Spirit Guide. Either of these functions would require some very deep meditation and may take a number of attempts before any contact can be made. One can use visualization to attain this state, by seeing the self entering into the Phantom Crystal. Since the Phantom is a great meditation aid, it lends itself to helping one achieve the state needed to access this hidden knowledge. Open mindedness is an absolute necessity where other realms are concerned. Any preconceived notions will only serve to hinder the connection needed to make these great spiritual advances on one's life.
Phantom Crystals can facilitate much growth, regardless of the type of mineral that forms the phantom inside the larger crystal. However, you can also utilize the properties of that mineral to further your goals for the crystal. For instance, you can use a Hematite Phantom as strong protection against any negative energies while you are working with the Phantom Crystal in your spiritual travels. Since Hematite is also used for mental issues, such as clarity or knowledge, it could help you to understand issues in a past life. Another example would be utilizing the healing energies of the Chlorite within a Phantom to heal past life issues that are hindering your present life experiences. As you can see, Phantom Crystals have many valuable metaphysical properties that can be utilized in one's inner work. Each person may have a different experience when working with a Phantom. These crystals carry much ancient knowledge and are ready to help you in your spiritual evolution.
