I bought a Mandarin Orange Topaz. That's how it was labeled when I bought it. I couldn't find it on your site. They may have told me that it had been lab created or altered to bring out its color. Should I consider it a "normal" Topaz or is it an Imperial Topaz because its exactly the same color?. I don't know what to make of it or what metaphysical properties it may have.
Hi M,
Thank you for contacting us with your question.
"Mandarin Topaz" was a name used by Swarovski Crytsals. I'm not sure of the cut of your stone, but is it possible that it's a Swarovski stone?. Assuming that is not the case, and it is a natural topaz, I do not believe it is the same as Imperial Topaz. Many times, when a stone is given a descriptive name, such as "Mandarin", it is either enhanced or lab created. Without knowing the enhancement or treatment that your stone has received, it really is impossible to advise you as to its specific properties. Here is a link to the general properties of Topaz: https://www.healingcrystals.com/Topaz_Articles_5688.html
Crystal Blessings!
