"Is magnetite safe for people who have pacemakers?"

Thanks for your crystal question.
Magnetite, or Lodestone as it's sometimes called, is said to be magnetic and anything that's magnetic is not safe for someone who is wearing a pacemaker. I always recommend folks to check with their doctor first but I don't personally recommend folks to wear it. For our Hematite items, we mention that magnetic hematite should be avoided for those who wear a pacemaker so the same would go for Magnetite or Lodestone.
Interestingly, I looked on both Mindat and Minerals.net, trusted sources that I often refer to and don't see any associated health risks, but that doesn't mean it wouldn't be harmful for those who wear pacemakers (in my opinion).
