Hi. Do you think it is a good or bad idea to keep a large crystal collection in a bedroom a few feet away from where you sleep? Could this possibly affect sleep? Many thanks.

Hi R,

Thank you for your inquiry.  I wouldn't necessarily say it is a bad idea, but it might not be conducive to a good night's sleep.  It depends on what crystals are in your collection and how you personally respond to them.  I know some people who can't sleep with Lapis Lazuli near their bed because their dreams are so intense they are unable to get a restful sleep.  Certain soothing crystals, such as Amethyst and Rose Quartz, are probably safe to sleep with in any quantity, but how one's sleep is impacted by crystals is a very personal thing.  You could place the collection elsewhere in your home and introduce one or two at a time to your bedroom, keeping a dream journal to note what, if any, way they may impact your sleep.

Crystal Blessings~
