I have purchased Thulite from India and don't find it in your directory. It looks so like the Cinnabar cabochon you have now. Are they the same or related? And/or can you give me any info on Thulite? Thank you. Love your site <3

Hi B,

Thank you for your inquiry.  Thulite is a type of Zoisite. Purple-bluish Zoisite from Tanzania is called Tanzanite.  Cinnabar is a deep red to a reddish-orange, while Thulite is more of a pink to pinkish red due to manganese content.  Thulite helps to enhance one's experience of joy, easing social situations and communications with others.  It seems like it would be a lovely addition to your collection, I hope you enjoy getting to know more about it through direct experience.

Crystal Blessings~

Cinnabar is potencially toxic as it is Mercury Sulfate, even little dust generated by the crystals can lead to mercury poisoning.  (Submitted by: Nan'ya on January 22, 2018)
