I guess you can say I'm having hard time connecting with the stones. I don't sense anything. I'm not sure why. Also, I'm trying hard to focus, however at most part I always get side tracked.

I am doing well and I hope you are doing the same. I am sorry that you feel as if you are struggling to work with your crystals. Excuse me now if I am a little blunt - that is my nature :-)
I think you are working too hard at it. You want to just relax and let the crystals do their thing. Sometimes you notice something and sometimes you don't but they are always helping you. The hardest thing about working with energy - particularly in the metaphysical area - is setting aside your Ego and expectations. You have probably read a lot about crystals getting hot or cold or jumping around or glowing - I'll tell you a secret - they almost never do that. They are subtle and helping you in the background and it takes time to notice the difference that they make in your life. They aren't a quick fix that will suddenly heal everything and given you vivid insights into new worlds. They will open you to all kinds of new energies but it takes time and patience. Try to stop thinking about what you expect them to do for you and just live with them.
Let their energy help you in their own way and time and I guarantee that you will notice a difference. If you are so stressed that the crystals aren't "performing" in the way that you expect then you are not relaxed and open to what they are bringing to you. Keep doing your energy work and focus on your intentions and your goals and the crystal will support you but they work best when you are not focusing your attention on what they are or are not doing.
Have faith and relax and you will feel a difference.
