Which of your Black tourmaline crystals or products contain Mica? I heard that if the Black tourmaline possesses Mica, that allows it to return negative energy back to its source.

Dear D,

Thank you for contacting us with your question about Black Tourmaline with Mica. I sorry to learn that someone is giving you so much difficulty that you need this information. None of our current stock of Black Tourmaline is labeled as having inclusions of Mica, which means that while there may be stray pieces of it in our stock, actually receiving one of those pieces would be a matter of chance and not something we would guarantee.

One other thought I have regarding this matter. As an energy worker, I have been taught and have experienced personally that returning negative energy to its source as negative energy only intensifies the bad interactions between two people. Transmuting negative energy into light and then returning it to its source is safer for you and more effective in the long run. Selenite is a good stone for protecting you as well as for transmuting the negative energy. Here's why I've found this to be a better way:

First, the person who is hurling negativity at you, will only feel more negative when it returns. He will not realize that he feels lousy because of what he just did to you. In fact, it may cause him to be more negative towards you because the negativity he was feeling before is now more intense.

Second, if the person is behaving this way because they are under the influence of a dark entity (sounds weird, but it happens) those entities survive by feeding off negative emotions. So by sending negativity back, you are making that dark entity stronger, which will again, most likely come back with more badness happening to you.

Third, when you start sending negativity to someone or something, you open energetic pathways for that type of energy to flow from you, which increases the chance that it will flow back to you.

And finally, I have found that what the late, great Martin Luther King, Jr said, is absolutely true: "Darkness cannot drive out darkness" only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate: only love can do that."

I'm not saying you should embrace your enemy--that's a little more than most of us can do; but if you think of positive energy such as love, peace and joy dissolving the darkness of negativity, it can be easier to do and feel more logical.

I hope this information has been helpful to you and that you are able to resolve your situation as quickly, fully and safely as possible. As a, "Thank you" for contacting us, And of course, if you have any further questions, please don't hesitate to contact us again!

Crystal Blessings,

  Hello!
I am sitting watching the dawn glow over a lake at a cottage near Bancroft, Ontario, mineral capital of Canada. Yesterday I purchased a piece of black tourmaline in mica. Thank you for your excellent response to this combination. It was very astute and helpful for me to connect with this stone. I look forward to continuing with your newsletter.
