Good afternoon. I am a 100% disabled veteran who is dealing with PTSD, anxiety, panic attacks, agoraphobia…and currently have issues with air travel and shopping in stores. It was suggested that I might want to look into healing crystals, not to mention essential oils. I'd really appreciate any recommendations. Thank you.
Thank you so much for your service - it is because of the sacrifices that you and your family have made that the rest of us are allowed to live free. Sometimes it seems that too many don't realize that but I hope that you know that there are more of us that are very grateful.
Here are a few suggestions that I think may help:
Amethyst is helpful when you feel overwhelmed - it will help you to manage crowded situations.
Aquamarine is very calming when you feel nervous and stressed.
Lapis Lazuli is effective at reducing panic attacks. It helps you feel more in control and will allow you to mentally go to a quiet place while physically you have to deal with uncomfortable and challenging situations. If you are going to try one crystal I think you will find Lapis Lazuli to be the most effective for you.
Lepidolite is an overall calming crystal that I would use if you are having problems sleeping. It will keep your mind from raising and ease you into a peaceful state where you can truly rest.
As for essential oils I would normally recommend Lavender but I'm getting a strong feeling that you need is Peppermint. Maybe try Peppermint gum or candy to see if that helps you feel more relaxed when the stress comes in.
Thank you again for all that you have done for others and thank you for reaching out to us and for your support of Healing Crystals.com. I hope that I have been able to help and that you will not hesitate to contact me with any other questions.
Wishing you lots of Love and Light!
