The article that you are referencing seems to apply to crystals that have natural points, such as Clear Quartz, Amethyst or Smoky Quartz. In my opinion, the Turquoise will have the same benefits if you are wearing it regardless of which way you position the tear drop. As Turquoise does not have a natural point the act of simply wearing it will do just fine. So it is entirely up to you how you would like to have it. Some gemstone wrappers can do amazing things so let them help you design something special for you or you can do it yourself.
