I suffered emotional abuse in an alcoholic family. I stay in my head and seldom show emotion. I would like to use crystals to release unconscious programming from when I was a child that is restricting my emotions and limiting my joy in life. Does crystal size, shape and polish have a significant role in how well they work?
Thank you for your question.
A renowned crystal book author and crystal healer Naisha Ahsian has a program called Becoming a Human Crystal that instructs in great detail on how to work with crystals for the purpose that you describe. It is a 6-month program and the cost is significant, but I just wanted to let you know that it exists. We do not officially endorse any crystal healing programs, but we have had many ask us about this, so we just let people know. You can check out her free podcasts first to see whether her energy and message resonates with you. You can find them on blogtalk radio.
One of the most important suggestions when one wants to seriously work with crystals is to go by personal intention and intuition. You already know what you want to work on so one of the best ways to choose crystals to work with on this would be to think of this issue while you look at a variety of crystals (online or in person, if you have a store near-by) and choose those crystals that attract you the most as you look at them.
The size, the shape or the polish of the crystals do not matter. If you get a larger size, you may be able to feel the energy more, but even with a smaller size, it will do its work on an energetic level.
Please make sure to cleanse your crystals regularly, every day if you wear them daily, using one of the methods outlined in this article.
I hope that these recommendations can be of assistance and that crystals grace your journey with love and light.
