Hello, I have a problem that's been coming up more here recently. I have a spirit in the apartment we moved into and it seems neutral right now but I don't want to give it a chance to become negative. What would be a good crystal to assist in cleansing and then repelling any spirits or negative energy from coming back?

Thanks so much for your question about removing an unwanted entity from your home. Black Tourmaline & Black Obsidian are the most protective crystals and either would be excellent at removing this spirit. Whichever one that you choose I would wave it around your home counterclockwise and ask that any spirits that are lingering move on for the higher good of all.
After trying using a Clear Quartz (wave it clockwise) to bring in positive energy. Try placing the protective crystal in the area where your feel the spirit has been spending the most time to keep the issue from recurring or obtain 4 crystals and place one in each corner of the room or your home for ongoing protection against any negative energy. Just remember to keep your intentions for the higher good of the spirit and yourselves since you don't want to add any negative energy to the situation.
