I just received a Sungite Circle Pendant. How to I charge it? How often?

Thanks so much for your question about your Shungite Pendant. I just received my first Shungite as well and I am really enjoying it's energy.
Shungite is a powerful healer that is very effective at removing all kinds of negative energy. It can protect you from feel the negative vibes from outer sources like other people and is particular effective for electromagnetic sources like computers, wi-fi, cell towers, etc. It is also helpful at ridding your body of issues that are causing emotional and physical distress. Because it absorbs so much negativity it is imperative that it be cleared of past energies frequently. I would suggest at least once a week or more frequently if you feel that it needs it. Since you have a pendant you might drape it across another crystal after you have worn it - like a Kyanite or Clear Quartz - with the intention that the crystal help clear your Shungite of any past negative energies. I also like to use candles and/or smudge sticks for mine since it feels like it has a fiery presence that responds well to be cleared by fire elements. I would not place it in water.  I heard one "expert" yesterday on You Tube say that you could place the Shungite stones outside on the grass for just 10 minutes to clear them as they are supposed to getoverloaded with EMP's & other harmful Wi-Fi related rays.
