I read your article about glue harming a crystal. I have two really small peices of opal and I hot glued them together so that I don't loose them. Did I make a mistake?

article mentions, the only danger with hot glue is that the crystals may crack. If yours did not crack, all is well.
Please make sure to cleanse your crystals regularly, every day if you wear them daily, using one of the methods outlined here
