Hi. I can connect with spirits (see and talk), but some times they are not always good. I was looking online and wanted to know if you can help me to try and protect my self a little more, mostly at night. Thank you.

I am so sorry to hear that you have been suffering with some negative effects as a result of your psychic gift. Here are some crystals that will protect you and your space from any lingering spirits/energies:
Black Tourmaline is typically the strongest crystal for protection from negative and harmful energies. You should keep one with you always (maybe a pendant or bracelet) to build a shield around you.
Apache Tears and Snowflake Obsidian are excellent for protection when working with psychic energies. So much of the negative energy from spirits comes from past grief and regrets. These crystals can protect you from channeling and holding on to these issues that are not yours. They can also help you to help those spirits release their pain and move on. Black Obsidianis also very protective and any of the Obsidian crystals will protect you. I keep many of these in my home for this specific purpose.
Bronzite is also very protective for psychics since it boosts your control and allows you to assert your will over the situation. It will enable you to send any negative/harmful energy back towards the source so that it can be transformed into a more beneficial experience. It will turn negative energy into positive and send it away from you.
I'm not sure if you have read any books or done any research about your gift. One of my favorite books about protection is called "The Witch's Shield" by Christopher Penczak. I think that you would find it very helpful and give you some excellent tips for protection. "Witch" is in the title, but it is really about psychic protection for everyone.
