Hi! I am very new to crystal healing. I wore a beautiful Kunzite pendant to bed last night and had bad dreams. I also had a racing heart and dizziness all day, which is rare for me. I noticed some scratches on the back of the crystal, does this have any connection? Do you have any recommendations for getting the most out of this crystal?

Thanks for your question about your Kunzite pendant. It sounds as if you are really enjoying it but I'm sorry to hear that you may be having some negative reactions to the crystal.
Kunziteis a crystal that works on the Heart Chakra. It carries high vibrations that really clears negativity out of your chakras, aura and even your environment. It could be that you are feeling the effects of any negative energy being cleared from your Heart Chakra. The Heart Chakra is one of the toughest to keep clear and healthy because that is where we carry our emotions and tend to hold on to things far longer than we should. I suspect that you are releasing some things that no longer serve you. You might not even be aware that you were holding on to things that have been damaging you. Kunzite does carry natural "scars" that look like scratches and actually amplify their healing abilities. Those scratches that you noticed may be your Kunzite's way of giving you exactly what you need to release past hurts and heal.
I've had some very negative reactions to crystals and even healing sessions that resulted in nightmares and physical illness so I can sympathize with what you are going through. Please be sure to clean and charge your Kunziteon a daily basis. I suggest keeping it by a lit, white candle for a few moments and just asking that any negative energy that it is holding on to be released and replaced with a healing white (or pink!) light. The feelings of illness and disorientation should go away very quickly (hopefully before you even get this response). If it doesn't, then please don't wear the necklace as often and feel free to reach out to us with any other questions or concerns.
