Fear of the unknown. We have all felt it at one time or another. It is one of the most basic of emotions. Our current economy, world events, and tragedy take front and center in the media, at the office water cooler and in our own homes.
There are ways that we can lessen the effects of fear. To move from fear into a place of calm, balance and center is not only healthier for our bodies, but also for the energy that surrounds us emotionally and spiritually.
There are a host of crystals that can help to reduce, and in some cases totally alleviate, fear. Three of my favorite "fear reducing" crystals include:
Chrysocolla, Nephrite and
Topaz.
Chrysocolla is a wonderfully soothing stone. It helps to reduce/release stress, tensions and fears. It helps to draw off negativity and calm the emotions.
Nephrite helps to bring emotional relief from fear, grief, emotional crisis or pain. Nephrite provides protection and balance which can help to face the fear and find ways to release it.
Blue Topaz can be helpful for providing emotional support, repelling negativity, and cultivating the knowledge that "all is as it should be". Topaz can be used as an aid to relaxation, which will help to release the grip of fear.
When feeling the suffocation of fear, sit for a moment, holding your chosen crystal and quietly repeat the following affirmation.
"I release my fear and place trust in myself and the power of Divine, Universal Source. I move into a space of love and compassion. I am safe."
