I had two Rhodochrosite bracelets, one was stolen and one broke while I was traveling. I am divorced and lonely, and I felt that I needed this. Why does this stone not like me?

Dear A,

Thank you for contacting us with your question about Rhodochrosite. When crystals leave us, in any number of ways, their can be a few common reasons.

The first is that the crystal needs clearing because it's been doing a lot of work, and it is getting off your body to prevent giving that negative energy back to you. This is often the case when crystal jewelry breaks or falls off for no apparent reason. Another reason can be that it's not the right crystal for the energy you need, so it goes away to force you to find another crystal to work with.

When crystals go to other people, it can be because that person needs it more and the crystal recognizes that. But in the case of theft, it has nothing to do with you or the crystal, and is just a bad reflection on the character of the thief.

Rhodochrosite is generally a great crystal for healing the emotions from divorce and of loneliness, but Morganite and Kunzite are other great choices, if you feel Rhodochrosite and you do not get along.

I hope this information has been helpful to you and that things improve for you soon. And of course, if you have any further questions regarding crystals or crystal healing, please feel free to contact us again.

Crystal Blessings!
