Hi Kristi,

How do you differentiate between a crystal that needs to be regifted, and one that you will simply keep to be part of your medicine cabinet? I work with the public as a Licensed Massage Therapist so perhaps it's different. I have given some crystals as loans...that have not found their way back :) ....so figure they are still needed, I guess!

Best wishes for a happy new year to you, Shawn, and all at Healing Crystals.

With love,

Julie Payne-Funk

Happy New Year Julie :)

Many folks say that if you are not drawn to a piece any longer, that this may be a way to understand it is time to move on. But, if you are like me, you probably have a rather large collection and may use a crystal for a while, then be drawn to another, etc. I think we use our crystals in cycles like that.

For me, the crystal usually makes the decision :) What normally happens is that someone will come to visit and inevitably will pick up a crystal that they are drawn to. They may hold it while we visit and simply not put it down. It is rather a spontaneous action, which I feel is from higher self and the crystal itself- I simply tell them to keep it :) I have tried the loan approach, but like you, these pieces normally do not come back, so, like you, I figure they are needed more where they are :) Other times, I may be corresponding with someone via email or talking to them on the telephone and a crystal pops in my head. I know that I am supposed to send them that particular crystal, etc.

So, I think the best way to differentiate is to listen to your intuition and guidance. You will know, without a doubt, when a crystal is ready to move on :)

With love and crystal blessings,

Kristi
