"Hello, would you mind answering a question for me please?
I bought a Hematite crystal for (menopausal) insomnia. Does this crystal aid sleep? 1 webpage says it does, the other says absolutely not, don't even have it in your bedroom, it energises you! I don't know what to believe.
If it is for sleeping, how do I use it? I mean what do I do with it? Rub it? Put it beside my bed, under my pillow?"
Thanks for reaching out to us!
The best way to figure out if Hematite would work for you and sleeping is to use it for that. Remember that every crystal is as unique as each of us are. It's why there are so many crystals for different issues. Some work for some people and others do not. The only way to ever figure out how a crystal will work for YOU and your energy is to use it and see how it affects your energy over a period of time.
In terms of how to use it for sleep, you'll also have to figure out what works for you as there is no one method for all. Crystal work is more about what works for you. Here are some suggestions:
Experiment and see what works for you at all. EVERYTHING is always worth a try because if you don't try, you're never going to know and I'd rather fail and know how a crystal will work for me than not try and not know.
It's also a great way to bond with your stones. In my experience stones work when we work with them and we do so intentionally. Sometimes they work in the way we intended and other times in other ways. I remember working with Amethyst for sleep and it never worked like that for me, it kept me up BUT what I did get was a good focus on my negative thoughts running so I could deal with those better.
A lot of people have stones, don't work with them and don't use them intentionally so the stones never work for them. That's why I suggest to experiment to find what works for you and how the stone works for you.
I hope this helps!
