"Hi, I bought a golden healer quartz, golden healer quartz palm stone, and a Danburite quartz. My 3 yr old daughter has Down syndrome I would like the stones to be programmed for her low muscle tone, motor function, balance and stability, as well as speech. Thank you!"
Hi there C,
Thanks for reaching out to us :)
I can definitely assist you with some programming tips for better use of your crystals for your beautiful daughter. I have to start off with our disclaimer though: Crystals can support our healing journey as well as complement other forms of therapy but they cannot be used as a substitute for medical advice and/or practices.
When it comes to working with your crystals, I can break it down for you into 3 parts:
Cleansing and Clearing:
The first thing I would recommend is to give your crystals a good cleansing and clearing. I always recommend this after purchasing as well as on a regular basis depending on how often you are using the crystal - the more it works, the more often you have to clear it.
There are many ways to cleanse/clear and charge crystals but what's more important is your intention as well as choosing a method that works for you.
Your intention should always be something like the following: "I cleanse and clear this crystal of any energetic debris not for the highest good of all including myself."
From there, experiment with the methods and see which works for you and is fun. The last thing you want to do is cleanse your crystals and be unattached to what you're doing because then it's pointless.
The various methods include:
You can read more about the various methods here: Different methods for clearing crystals
Once you've cleared your crystal you can work on programming it. I don't really like to use the term programming but what matters is to use your crystals with intention.
The easiest way to do this is to pick up your crystal and say what you're going to use it for. For instance, I meditate with this Green Fluorite to open my heart up to appreciation and gratitude throughout the day.
For your daughter with the Golden Healers and Danburite, you could set the intention for each one: "I ask that this Golden Healer and Danburite bless my daughter with healing, better motor function and balance for her highest good." - Feel free to tailor this yourself as you chose them for her for specific reasons. I am simply providing an example for context.
After setting your intention, visualise it using all of your senses: what do you see happening for your daughter, how does it feel, can you smell, taste of hear anything (like her laughing). The more you visualise it in detail, the better.
That is programming or intentional use as simple as I can put it but you can read about it more in-depth here: How to program crystals and What to do with your new Crystals
Working with your Crystals:
Right so you've cleansed it, set an intention and now you need to work with the crystals.
You've gotten the crystals for your daughter who is still quite young but if you're comfortable with it, I'd recommend getting her involved: Sit with her and perhaps give her a light massage with them or play with them together and share with them why you got them for her. Let her guide you.
If you are not too keen on this, you can keep them next to her bed or in the room during the day.
I wouldn't recommend you let her sleep with them because they are both such high vibrational stones that they may disrupt her sleeping.
Here is an article that suggests a few other ways that you can work with your crystals: Beginner's Guide to Crystal (Part 2)
I hope this helps but if you have any questions, don't hesitate to reach out to us.
