Thanks for reaching out to us.
Often you'll find that you have a block when you feel there is something you cannot get passed: you keep repeating the same cycle, that doesn't serve you and benefit your life.
As blocks do start energetically, you can use any crystal to support you breaking through it BUT the crystal isn't a substitute for doing the work so try not to use your crystals as a bandaid rather, e.g. I'm procrastinating so I get Carnelian for motivation, but I don't do the project that I'm procrastinating around. In this instance, I've gotten the Carnelian as a bandaid.
For some folks they can drag their hands around a body, through the aura and detect when there is a block. The energy may feel differently. Some say that when you use something like a Selenite Rod, and while combing down your chakras, when the action dips in toward the body, you know there may be a block there. You can work with the Selenite to clear and realign the energy. You may energetically feel the shift and clear, but it's not always a guarantee that one Selenite rod around the aura will fix things.
