Question:
"Hello, Just had a question in relation to the two stones: Tiger eye and Larimar.
Was looking to get them in jewelry, either a bracelet or pendant, but I want to know more about how to take care of them? Can you tell me if either Tiger Eye or Larimar absorbs energy or repels energy? If so, what is the best way to cleanse them and how often (if you’re wearing them daily as jewelry)?
Thanks for your help!"
Answer:
Hi there D,
Thank you for reaching out to us.
When it comes to crystals, including Tiger Eye or Larimar, all crystals absorb energy and that is why it's important to clear them regularly.
There are various methods for clearing crystals but the most important part is your intention which should always be to clear the crystal of energetic build-up not for the highest good of all beings.
The various methods include: smudging, singing bowl, water (best for tumbled crystals), prayer, breath, moonlight, sunlight (use with caution), salt, rice and more.
You can read more in-depth about this here -> How to Clean and Clear Crystals
It's really difficult to say how often one should clear their crystals as some people clear their crystal jewelry daily, others never clear their crystals and say they work just fine. In my opinion, when it comes to jewelry, I prefer to clear it regularly because that crystal comes into contact with some many energies of all the people you come into contact with and the places you find yourself in daily. I always feel then that the crystal works a little bit harder so I clear them more regularly.
Tune in daily and see how they are feeling, if they feeling slower, or just a little bit off, then you know it may be time to give it a clearing.
I hope this helps clears things up a bit.
