"I'm a newbie in crystals. Sheer desire to add more Magic into my life. I have always loved the Woo-Woo. I LOVE Metaphysics. I'm yearning to embrace my Transcendent Self; that led me into exploring these beautiful Sentient Beings. Part of the reasons was also to banish negative energies/entities. Been having nightmares for years now. Have had a Shamanic healing.
How can I uproot self-sabotage? Sometimes I have these negative nudging and feelings of saying unkind thing to my helper and that's not a good. I still feel a tinge of it. I'm yearning to banish it. Please tell me how.
I put my crystals yesterday night on my bed and I slept. But I had nightmares/oppression. What is the message and lesson for me here?"

Thanks for reaching out to us.
You can try working with Amethyst, along with the intention of protection during sleeping. Amethyst is known to protect from nightmares.
It's also very important to protect yourself at night. A lot of people protect themselves in the morning before starting their day but then do nothing at night.
I am unable to tell you what the message is though but as I mentioned above, many protect themselves in the day, and at night don't bother. It's just as important to protect at night while sleeping. Maybe even more important.
Dreams and nightmares are messages from ourselves to ourselves so I'd encourage you to try remember the dream and write it out. Just write what you remember, then continue to write and don't think about it for about 15 minutes. See if you can uncover some meaning or clarity to the dream. It may just seem scary because it could be something you're not acknowledging... Sometimes the mind makes things a little worse and we can stand outside, we see that it's not that scary as much as we thought. Granted some people do have genuine fears and phobias so I'm talking very openly here.
Hmm, there is no definite trick to uprooting self-sabotage. The only thing I can recommend is love yourself enough to forgive yourself all the time and to be aware. It's only when we are aware do we realise that we have a choice and that we do not need to go the negative way.
Often if we are feeling negative toward someone else, we need to go inward, what is about that person that is ticking us off inside of ourselves - it's often there we can recognise our shadow trying to get recognition.
A loose example I can give you: my husband can be quite lazy and that ticks me off when he leaves his clothes lying around, because inside me I do not tolerate myself when I am lazy.
Go within and I know that sounds "crazy" because we as humans would rather put the blame on someone else BUT, we are all ONE. What someone else is doing is reflecting something in me that I am not acknowledging.
