How do you tell a Honey or Lime colored Citrine from Olive Quartz? They look the same to me. There must be something that helps to identify these crystals. Would you please share this knowledge?
The simple answer is that each of the pieces you asked about have a hue variation.
Lime Citrine is not natural. It is color enhanced and most often used in faceted jewelry. It will be a bright green.
is a medium to dark brown with gold tones and can be natural.
is a natural VERY pale golden quartz with olive green overtones.
Basically, the difference is in the amount and shade of the color.
