Question:

"Hi,
Thank you for providing these crystals at great prices. I have ordered a few and they are all so lovely! I also really appreciate all the resources you have available on your site for free. It is so helpful and I am really glad to have found you guys. :)

I am quite new to crystals and have a question:
Does the grade of a crystal effect it's efficacy?
I'm looking to get a heart amethyst and rose quartz for my daughters to keep with them in their lunch bags at school as a protection stone but don't know if a grade A or extra or if from China vs Brazil makes a difference.

Thank you!!"

Answer:

Hi,

Thank you so much for reaching out! I am so glad that you found us and thank you for your warm words! <3

In answer to your question...

Everything vibrates and each different type of crystal has its own unique vibration that can be a strong catalyst for healing. A grade stones are not necessarily "better" than the B grade stones, however sometimes the A grade stones are more clear and pure and thus have a stronger vibration. B grade stones can be very useful and I suggest that you experiment with them and see how they feel different to you.

It is important to clear your stones regularly and we have an article here that discusses methods for clearing your crystals.

It is also important to program your crystals with specific intents as they can be very useful in amplifying the vibration of your intent and assisting with the integration of these thoughts. Here is another article that we have that discusses programming crystals.

I truly hope that this helps and that you and your daughters enjoy the crystal journey.
