Here are a few questions I have regarding crystals:
1. how would you differentiate real crystals from fake?
2. how would you know if your crystals are energized?
3. what are the things to be considered in choosing the best crystal for yourself?
Thanks for contacting us. Real crystals and "fake" crystals have different energetic vibrations. Some people feel that real crystals have a higher vibration or are more pure, but artificial crystals can also have a distinct vibration depending on what they are made of. Keep in mind that some artificial crystals are real crystals that have been modified. For example, Aqua Aura Quartz is real quartz that has been infused with gold through a heating process. After the transformation, this crystal no longer has the same energy as the quartz it was. Although this crystal is technically artificial, it has its own distinct energy and is beneficial for meditation and healing purposes.
You can energize your crystals by clearing them regularly and also by putting your intent into them. Program your crystals by holding them in your hand, picture them surrounded by brilliant white light, and say "I dedicate this crystal to be used only for the highest good. I program this crystal for _____." You can do this more than once to strengthen the programming. Also, remember to clear your crystals regularly by smudging, leaving them in the moonlight, or another method. Here is an article on clearing your crystals and a YouTube video that you can play to clear your crystals. When your crystal is not energized it may not feel that it is working anymore or may even feel uncomfortable to hold or make you feel anxious.
Each person should select the stones that are suitable for their needs and goals. For most people, their intuition will guide them to the crystals that will be best for them. You can do this by simply seeing which crystals attract your attention. Another way to select crystals is to choose them for their healing properties. For example, if I wanted a crystal to help boost my metabolism, I would choose Sodalite. If you are new to this, there are many books available with this information, such as The Encyclopedia of Crystals by Judy Hall. I hope this information is helpful to you.
