I haven't found the answer to this anywhere on your website.......wondering if there healing properties are different between the tumbled stones and not tumbled? Is there any difference between spheres, hearts, etc crystals and "wands"...i.e does the shape hold any special properties? As you can see I am a novice seeking more information. Thanks!
Thanks for reaching out to us with your questions. Both tumbled and raw crystals can be used for healing and they will both emit the healing energy of the stone. Some people believe that crystals are more powerful in raw form, but I believe that the energy depends on the individual crystal. Different polished shapes will also have the same healing properties and basic energy of the crystal. However, sometimes a certain shape is better suited for a certain purpose. I prefer to carry mostly tumbled stones in my pocket, because they are the least likely to incur damage this way. I like to put pyramids, skulls, spheres and some other shapes around my home because they are pretty to look at.
The different shapes of crystals will emit energy differently. Spheres send calming energy out in all directions and hearts tend to have a loving energy in addition to the other characteristics of the crystal. For any crystal with a point, the energy is directed and concentrated at the point(s) and often also amplyfied. An example of this is a Quartz point or a pyramid. Other than Quartz points, I tend to leave most crystals with a point at home because the points can be fragile and chip. Wand are specifically designed to strenghten the energy and direct it through the tip, and are very useful for use for acupressure, creating crystal grids, clearing the aura, and other energy work. The crystals shaped as platonic solids (sacred geometry) represent the different elements and basic building blocks of life. I love to meditate with them, especially merkabas. I hope this info helps. Please let me know if you have any other questions. I hope your journey is blessed with Love and Light.
