Hi there SL,
We ship the Cinnabar in little containers because they are toxic and we want you to be protected too, so you can keep them in there, and even though it'll be in a container (or however you choose to store it), you can still work with it.
It's not one I'd recommend taking out and meditating with by holding it or carrying it around with you, but you can still benefit from its energy in your space even in a container. Thank goodness there are other methods of working with stones right :D
