Due to the coronavirus, the Healing Crystals pick-n-pack warehouse is temporarily closed and we are not accepting orders.

I wire wrap most all of the crystals for people to "wear " or carry them easily. Blue Calcite is so brittle , it's literally crumbling as I pick it up. Will putting a tin layer of a clear spray adhesive affect its healing? Thank you for your input!
Thanks so much for your question and Blue Calcite is very hard to wrap - I just look at one and it seems to crack into pieces, lol. While I don't think that spray adhesive will affect it's healing powers it might not really be supportive enough to keep the crystal together to do an effective wire wrapping. I do have a suggestion for you and this is something that I do for delicate crystals (I did it for a rough Tanzanite that would not stay together) and that is to create a cage with the wire and then place the crystal in it rather than wrapping the wire around the crystal. You can actually find them already made for $2 - $3 online (just do a google search for a "wire cage". Just make sure that the ends are tight enough that your crystal won't fall out and it works very well. Since you are just placing the crystal in the pre-made cage you are not putting stress on it by wrapping the wire around it. Hope this suggestion works for you.
Thank you for reaching out to us and for your support of Healing Crystals.com. I hope that I have been able to help and that you will not hesitate to contact me with any other questions.
