Hi. I am living at home with my mother in an apartment complex and my mother constantly speaks negatively about me no matter what. Sometimes I believe she is the one behind my undoing. Everytime I set out to do something, she plays a role in me not achieving my goals. Also, I live below a family that I know is against me moving forward in life. What stoes do i use in this situation?

Thank you for reaching out to us with your crystal question. There are few things so painful as attacks from those who should be giving us the most support. For you, there are three crystals that I think will be helpful.
If there is a room that is your space, where you spend a lot of time, you can grid the room with Selenite and Black Tourmaline. I'd put 4 rods of the tourmaline in the corners of the room (1 per corner) and lay a Selenite rod against the wall, parallel to the wall as close to the center of each wall as possible. Then, using your index finger or another crystal point or wand, draw an imaginary line connecting all 8 crystals, moving to the right or clockwise as you go, with the intention that you will be shielded from all energy forms that are not of 100% pure light or which are not for your highest good. Remember to give the crystals a rest and recharge regularly--sitting them near speakers that are playing classical or spa or spiritual types of music for a few hours is an easy way to do this.
When you are home, wearing Lapis Lazuli is a good way to protect yourself from these "psychic attacks" from both your neighbors and your mother. Lapis Lazuli has a tendency to return the attack to its source, which makes it unpleasant for the person to continue attacking you. Remember to cleanse this regularly, too. If you wear it daily, cleanse it daily, as with the others, or put it on another stick of Selenite (one that is not part of your grid) overnight to cleanse and re-charge.
