I received my crystals and am very happy. However, I am new to the whole crystal thing - just learning about it - and was hoping to get an explanation of what all the crystals mean and how to best use them. I ordered the Tumbled Chakra set. Can you help steer me in the right direction?

Welcome to the magical world of crystals! I understand you purchased the Tumbled Stone Chakra set. Below is a list of what each stone is, what chakra it corresponds with and what it can assist you with metaphysically.
Crown Chakra
Clear Quartz - Stone of Power; Raises Consciousness towards Enlightenment and Purifies on All Levels.
3rd Eye Chakra
Amethyst - Opens Intuition; Enhances Psychic Gifts and Higher State of Consciousness.
Throat Chakra

 I have tried to make my own chakra set out of stones I have. What I have together so far is - A Clear Quartz point, Red Jasper, Carnelian, Citrine, Green Adventurine, Sodalite or Lapis Lazuli, Turquoise and last but not least an Amethyst. Are these stones good/ correct or is there any stone that you think that I should change out for another. i have hundreds of stones so any substitution I most llikely have or could just order from you guys :) Also should a chakra set be programmed individually by stone or as a whole healing set for the stones to kind of chose their own way to heal what "they" feel is needed. I have read that not programming is like giving someone a job without intructions but I'm kind of confused.
