Could you please help me:

I've confused my flourite and calcite crystals. One is light greenish in color and is "soapy" in feel - I remember being told that is a sure-fire way to identify what it is. The other is clear and is not "soapy" to the touch. Is this enough information? I not sure how else to describe them.

Agh!

I thank you so much for your time and efforts.

I love your website and plan on telling my friends!

All the best,
Sean

Dear Sean~

Thank you for your question. To be sure, I would need to see the stones. However, I kind of feel that the "soapy" crystal would be the Calcite, but I could be wrong. The other crystal, if Fluorite, should seem more colorful than the stone that seems "soapy". Since I just can't guarantee that statement, if you would like to email a photo of the two stones, I would be able to give you a more definite response.

Blessings,
