I did a healing session with my cousin last night (my third session with her) but this was the first time she saw an animal during the healing, it was a wolf and I was wondering if you might have some insight into what this might mean. This session was the first time I had my crystals with me too. Thank you!
The Wolf is one of the first animal totems that many people see and feel. I remember having a Wolf show up around me for a while. I never saw the Wolf but, like you, I was working with a healer who did see the animal and I could feel its presence before that. It seemed to me that something large and loyal was often sitting next to me for protection and encouragement...which is what the Wolf is all about and why it often is one of the first animal totems to visit us.
The Wolf can help you to hear and trust your inner voice. It will encourage you to rely on your instincts and follow the path that you know to be true for you. The Wolf often comes to help you create a new path and begin to live a new life. It offers protection and reminds you that you are the creator of your life and you have the ability to make it whatever you desire. I'm not sure what crystals that you were working with but I particularly like Labradorite and Moonstone when working with the Wolf. Don't be too surprised if other animal totems begin to make themselves known to you as well. I have a Snow Leopard who has been with me for long time now.
Thank you for such an interesting question and for sharing your experience. I hope that I have been able to help and that you will not hesitate to contact me with any other questions.
Wishing you lots of Love and Light!
