Here is a Question from One of Our Customers:

If a quartz crytal wand or any other crystal was accidentally dropped and the point got chipped, does this diminish the previous programming or the power of the crystal?

Answer:

Dear E,
I must share the standard disclaimer that I am not a doctor and cannot give out medical advice. Crystals for healing should be used as a compliment to other therapies and not as a replacement for regular medical care.

No it will not effect the programing or the power of the crystal but it will change the energy pattern that is transmitted. It will be slightly defused from the point instead of the concentrated beam it had before, not by much but it will prevent you from using this crystal for things like psychic surgery that requires a concentrated beam. You can have the tip reshaped with no harm to the crystal, if this bothers you.

Ask around at the jewelers or lapidary shops in your area. They may charge a small fee, but they are usually pretty good at helping out. Who knows you may meet a new friend that way. Good Luck in your search.
