"I ordered a few stones from your online store but I accidentally dropped one and it broke. Is this going to affect my ability to meditate with it?"

Hi Ger,
Thanks for your order and for your email. Just as WE have karma, crystals too have their own consciousness AND karma. Sometimes, it is in their life lesson to "break", crack or chip. As crystals are holographic in nature, they connect with the Entire mineral kingdom to bring forth their particular vibration for their intended purpose. Thus, it is not the size of the stone that matters. It is the intent and mineral composition that matters the most.
Although yours has "broken", the vibration is still intact. Sometimes crystals are formed into geometrical shapes that assist to focus particular energies. This focus can be diminished when the sacred geometry is not intact, however intent is what matters the most. Some of my favorite crystals are "damaged" and despite the visual illusion of "not being whole", I find that they still work very well to serve their purpose in my Healing Work, energy grids or in my medicine bag.
When a crystal breaks in two, I find that sometimes it is best to give away the "extra piece" and thus providing a constant connection between the holders of the original stone. I suggest that you continue to meditate with your stone and see how it feels to you and what the stone "wants to do next".

| hello I purchased an amazing piece of clear quarts and a rose quartz and after cleansing them with salt...my foolish brain thought of cleaning the stones with hot water and they both cracked from inside on contact.... everything is all together but will they still have the same effect...i know im pretty much asking the same question ..my heart aches :((( (Submitted by: andisheh on January 26, 2012) |
