Many use it to increase opportunities for Wealth and if you follow EnergyMuse, you'll discover that it's one of their top 3 power stones for wealth opportunities. Citrine and Green Aventurine being the other 2.
What's most important is to work with your crystals and form a bond with it so you can discover how the crystal would like to work in your life.
For me personally, Pyrite is more of a grounding stone, because of it's natural cubic formation so I find it really grounds the confidence, not making you vain. Someone else may have another experience because we are all different and crystals effect us differently, but the only way to really know is to work with your rocks and see how it effects you.
