Do Himalayan Quartz clusters have the same ionic effect as Himalayan salt lamps? Is there a considerable benefit to salt lamps opposed to the benefits of the Quartz?

Thanks so much for your question. Himalayan Salt Lamps are actually Halite that comes from the Himalayas. It is a different crystal that Quartz with different properties. Halite or Salt Lamps as they are more commonly known clears the air of negative ions making the energy around them brighter and clearer. Scientifically they are not proven to make a difference but I can tell you that my home feels much better. It hydrates the air and balances the atmosphere. Salt is a proven healing agent - that is why beach/ocean areas are so healthy with the salt in the air. The salt lamp works on the same principal but it is more subtle than the waves. Himalayan Quartz is similar to Clear Quartz but carriers different properties due to its unique location. You can click the link above to learn more about that form of Quartz.
